moe. New Years Run

2010-12-30/31 moe. House of Blues - Boston, MA

Its been three years since I saw moe. on New Years Eve 2007-12-31 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. That night was amazing. Once again moe. proves them self finishing up there 20th anniversary as a band with a two night run at The House of Blues.

2010 has been an amazing year for the moe.rons! It started in January with a two night run at Roseland Ballroom in New York City with a ton of special guests including:

Marco Benevento, Danny Barnes, Jeff Austin, David Sanborn, Butch Trucks, and Dave Fiuczynski

The second night Rob. Al. Chuck. Vinnie. & Jim. walked on the stage with suits and haven't taken them off all year long..well except for a few sets at Summercamp and moe.down.

The end of March moe. and Umphrey's Mcgee hosted the 10th Annual Summercamp in Chillicothe, Il where they each performed 3 day sets, 2 night, and 1 late night. moe. debuted 5 brand new songs: Day Dreaming, Haze, Billy Goat, One Life, Puebla (Billy Goat being the crowd favorite). moe. was also on the cover of relix magazine this summer as well where the picture for the middle of the magazine was taken at summercamp.

We go further down the road and moe. performs at the Stone pony 4th of July for my third 4th with moe. there. Surprise surprise moe. whips out an 'Ugly American' first time played since the early 90's. Since they performed 'American, F*ck Yeah' the year before they figured they would try and perform the song. Unfortunately Rob. doesn't really know the words to the song he proved that when they performed when they were forced into playing the song on Sirius radio's 'Jam On' very own Jonathan Schwartz.

Labor Day weekend moe. moved their 11th annual moe.down to Mohawk, NY or moe.hawk, NY.

Early October moe. did a three night run New York, NY> Upper Darby, PA> Portland, ME

where moe. debuted another two new songs: 'Downward Facing Dog' & 'Paper Dragon'

Due to family problems moe. pushed back their Halloween Show to December and debuted another five songs: 'Chromatic Nightmare' 'Suck A Lemon' 'No Refrain' 'Mar-Dema' 'Silver Sun'

Al. Rob. & Chuck. did a five night acoustic run under the name of DiSGRACe debuting another song 'Little Miss Cup Half Empty'.

This was such an amazing New Years! We were all hoping for the 'New Years 3 Set!' but still, moe. took us to another level! 'Water' was amazing and I was so Happy when they started to pay it since I have not heard 'Water' since my 1st moe. show back in 2005. 'Nebraska' was sick to hear too!

The Dirty Dozen was singing their New Orleans Saints song! and 'The Saints go Marching in.'

I always love me some great New Orleans music and The Dirty Dozen just knew how to set the mood for the an amazing evening!

Watching the moe.kids perform onstage with their parents was an awesome site to see!

I can't wait to see moe. again at snoe.down in March, and Summercamp in May!
