CHUCK SIDE!

moe. Summer Tour 2011

My brother and I decided to skip out on seeing moe. in Asbury and Providence so we could start our moe. tour with AllGood. It was the best choice we made. We started out our day with an acoustic moe. set where they performed the song One Life. moe. was able to get over 1,000 people to purchase the song on iTunes, which allowed them to perform the acoustic set on the grassroots stage at AllGood. My brother Scott and I held a sign that read "T60RM" because I still had not heard the ghost of ralphs mom. jim. came out on stage and said "Sorry I don't the set list." Then al. came out and said, "No!"

2011-07-16 AllGood Music Festival - Masontown, WV (ACOUSTIC SET)

2011-07-16 AllGood Music Festival - Masontown, WV
During the later set moe. took the stage and opened with Buster. We met this kid who has never see moe. and we explained what what about to happen. When the set ended he looked at us and said, "I just got moe.lested!" It was incredible. After the past year from moe.down to SNOE.DOWN to SummerCamp, moe. has put up flo on the set list but have not played it. Suddenly the band went into the jazzy intro of Don't Fuck With Flo and it was incredible! It made up for not seeing them in Asbury and Providence just for the song! The set ended with a type 2 version ofrecreational chemistry into Akimbo.

2011-07-17 Musikfest Cafe - Bethlehem, PASunday morning Scott and I left AllGood earlier and started headed to Bethlehem to get more moe. Runaway Overlude was a great opener but set two blew me away when they Broke into T6ORM thinking that Scott and I wouldn't be there and saying no the day before. I finally got what I was chasing and on top of that, I caught my first Californ IA. Throughout the show everyone was chanting meat. When moe. camp back on for their encore the entire crowd was chanting meat. rob. reacted with a giant smile and started slapping the bass to the beginning of a beautifully 20 min meat. Short but sweet!Set 1: Runaway Overlude, Cathedral > 32 Things, Letter Home1> Happy Hour Hero, Crab EyesSet 2: Spine Of A Dog > Jazz Wank > The Ghost Of Ralph's Mom, Puebla > Queen of Everything > Californ IA > Time EdEncore: Meat197 / reggae version
2011-07-20 Art Park - Lewiston, NY
Scott and I had two day to kill until we drove up to Buffalo, NY. The hometown to the boys. They played 20 min north of there at a place in Lewiston that head a really cool view of Canada right behind the stage. We were only a couple of miles from Niagara Falls. This was actually a free show but Scott and I played $25 to stand in the front. VIP status!. If you notice in all the picture scott and I are in the front row of every single show! We made that rail ours all weekend long! rob. was laughing at us most the time. Waiting for the Punchline was the best best part of the show.

2011-07-21 Party In The Park - Rochester, NY
The next day we started heading east in the incredible heat wave to my 40th show in over 100 degree weather. We ended up at this place called Party In The Park in Rochester. First off It was a parking lot and the only tree I saw was behind the stage. The show was amazing with a seventeen song set list. During the second set moe. performed McBain> Lazarus> Skrunk> McBain. When moe. ended the McBain sandwich 3:12 into the song chuck. teases Crosseyed and Painless! Now I wait for the day when they perform one of my favorite Talking Heads songs ever!

2011-07-22 Lowell Summer Music Series - Lowell, MAAfter a 6 hour ride to Rhode Island and then another 2, we made it to Lowell. This was a really cool venue located right off the street with big grassy steps leading down to the stage. Yet another great show with my first time hearing She.Set 1: Darkness > Bearsong, She, Paper Dragon > Where Does the Time Go? > Dr. GraffenbergSet 2: Sticks and Stones > Opium, Threw It All Away,Tambourine > Downward Facing Dog, Hi and Lo > Timmy TuckerEncore: Not Coming Down, Tubing The River Styx > The Pit
2011-07-23 Gathering Of The Vibes - Seaside Park - Bridgeport, CTIt all came down to the last day at Gathering of the Vibes! We made it to the front for the last show of the tour. We expected to hear most of the songs they did because its their "festival set." Billy Goat is just an amazing song and I am glad that they played it twice this tour.
Set 1: George > Y.O.Y., Billy Goat, Good Trip > Faker >Moth, Buster > Rebubula > So Long > Rebubula
Out of the seven shows we only heard five repeats. It was such a great tour and I am glad I got to spend it with my brother and made many new friends along the way! I cant wait to see them at Dave's Caravan and moe.down!!!! I will be hitting my 50h show very soon! Special Shout outs to Matt and Neil! See yah at the .down!!!

In 1973 on a hot July 28th day 600,000 people showed up at Watkins Glen, NY for a full day of music. One of these 600,000 people was my mother! Just last week I was at Watkins Glen only with 40,000 people but for phish! They should add a Phish cover band to the revival next year!

The Best "46 Days" Of My Life!

2011-07-1/2/3 SUPER BALL IX - Watkins Glen, NY (PHISH PHEST)
First things first....WOW!

We arrived at Watkins Glen International in Wakins Glen, NY. "Do you have glass, weapons or narcotics," asked the guy at the gate. We said no and received our Official Festival Bracelets and set up camp! The festival actually began on thursday June 30th. Phish has never played in Oklahoma but thats where we camped! Each camping ground was named after the states the Phish has never performed in: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Hawaii, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Alaska.

During the entire time we were camping we were listening to AM 1490 "The Bunny" which was Phish Radio! They took over AM Radio, SiriusXM "Jam On", and Phish.net. They had different DJ's playing great music all weekend long. Phish's sets were broadcasted over the radio and filmed where you could watch it live as well.
All weekend long we were up front raging! PAGE SIDE RAGE SIDE!

Highlight***Phish took the stage for set 1 of day 2 and opened wit Tube as soon as that happened thousands of beach balls took flight bouncing off the sea of 40,000 fans. Everyone in the front started throwing the beach balls on stage. I ended up hitting a bunch up on stage as well and had a volley going with both Page and Trey! It was so much fun and the front of the stage was covered with beach balls and the quartet loved it!
Right after the The Moma Dance I told everyone that I wanted Trey to say welcome to super ball and two seconds later Trey looks out at the crowd and says "Welcome...Thanks for coming to the party!"
When Phish opened the Saturday festivities with Tube a couple hundred beach ball started bouncing over the crowd. Everybody started throwing balls on stage. During this time I had a volley with both PAGE & TREY!
2:00 on Friday the JIVE Records store was releasing the last 400 copies of Two Sound Checks for only $7 and on Sunday they released the White Tape on Vinyl now called the White Vinyl for only $20.
Saturday night I was able to find out some information about the secret set! I knew it would be at 1:00 am but we just didn't know where to go. We walked around the main festival ground thinking that it could possibly be there. We were right! Ball Square was set up in the center of the festival where you could see the theme of Super Ball which was the WHAT CHEER? BRIGADE, a Providence marching band decided to play during the day when Phish was not raging. They were so good! After Phish finished there second set of the first day the What Cheer? Brigade were marching around and everyone was following them around.
YOU ARE HEARING IT HEAR FIRST!
I best that Phish Phestival X will be in the same location!
Only 31 people were arrested (out of 40,000) which is the equivalent to when there are races going on at Watkins Glen International and the locals did not even know we were there!
